This year’s Hot Dogs & Cool Cats Gala for the Humane Society of Sarasota County was held on Saturday, December 7th at the luxurious Sarasota Yacht Club. The sold out crowd was greeted by three adorable shelter pets, enjoyed great wine, fabulous cuisine and a thrilling live auction that included trips to Lake Como, Italy and Aspen, CO!

Local stars Les McCurdy and Ken Sons hosted this evening of hilarity and famous comedian Elayne Boosler, back by popular demand, had the crowd laughing their paws off!

You and your canine companions are cordially invited to the 20th annual Tails at Twilight gala on Oct. 12 as we celebrate the pets in our lives and raise funds for homeless animals in our community.

All guests will enjoy a hosted bar of wine and beer, delectable dining options, entertainment and special shelter guests. Dog Butlers will cater to the needs of our well-mannered, leashed canine friends.

We are excited to announce that we have a special guest who will be entertaining all attendees: comedian Elayne Boosler! Elayne also will be available for a meet and greet and photo op at the end of the evening for all VIP guests.
